Business Coach Gold Coast
For Gold Coast Owners Who Have Outgrown the Way They Used to Run the Business
Most Gold Coast owners who reach Sean have already been through a business coaching program, a mastermind, or a couple of weekend intensives at some point in the last few years. Sean Soole runs Inner Circle, a structured mentoring program for Gold Coast business owners running companies between $750k and $50M in turnover. Members are based across the coast: property developers and builders in Bundall and Southport, hospitality operators through Broadbeach and Burleigh, trades and manufacturers around Nerang and Coomera, and professional services, health and digital businesses in Robina and Varsity Lakes.
The common thread is that most reached out at a similar point. The shorter programs weren’t going to shift the business much further. What they needed was a longer, more structured piece of work on the actual mechanics of the company, done over 12 months and beyond rather than a weekend.
Why Gold Coast Businesses Get Stuck at This Stage
A lot of Gold Coast businesses grew faster in the last five years than in any five years before. The interstate migration wave into South East Queensland dropped real revenue on property services, trades, hospitality, health and professional services firms that weren’t structurally set up for it. Teams doubled. Client bases doubled. Very few businesses had time to build the middle management layer that a doubled business actually needs, and the owner ended up running a $5M company the same way they used to run a $1.5M one.
The shape it takes now is fairly consistent. Margins are lower than they should be at this revenue because pricing hasn’t kept up with cost inflation and the operations layer isn’t tight enough to protect them. Senior hires are harder to find and harder to keep on the coast than they were two years ago, and when someone leaves, the client work they were quietly holding lands back on the owner. Cash flow feels more sensitive than the P&L makes it look, particularly in the businesses with seasonal peaks or long project cycles.
None of this gets fixed by working more hours. It gets fixed by pulling the owner back out of the day-to-day operations, rebuilding the numbers so that big calls can happen faster and with more conviction, and putting the operational structure in place that a company at this size actually needs to run cleanly. That is the piece of work Inner Circle exists to do.

What Working With Sean Actually Looks Like
Inner Circle is a mentoring program capped at 100 owners. There is no rolling intake and no upsell to a “next tier”. Members stay in for as long as the program is doing real work for them, which for a lot of members is multiple years.
The way it runs day to day:
- One-on-one coaching with Sean across the year, happening as and when you need it. Calls run mostly by video, which for Gold Coast members means no half-days lost to travel.
- A mentor bench of more than 20 specialists covering the different sides of running a company: financial management, operations, hiring, sales, marketing, leadership development. When a decision comes up that sits outside Sean’s specific edge, the mentor working with you on it is someone whose career has been in that discipline. That is the difference between one coach’s opinion and a properly resourced team behind your business.
- Quarterly Inner Circle events across Australia, with Queensland dates in the calendar every year. These are full working days with Sean and the mentor team, run around actual member problems, not motivational-speaker sessions. Most members leave with a concrete plan for the quarter ahead.
- A working group of Gold Coast owners already inside the program, running businesses across property and construction, trades, hospitality, health, professional services, and other sectors. Members stay in contact between events and regularly refer work to each other.
- Sean’s speaking events and workshops run across South East Queensland throughout the year, open to members and to owners still working out whether the program is the right fit.
The coaching itself runs across four areas that the program has structured out over years of doing this work. Getting the financials into a shape where big decisions come faster. Building the team and operations layer so the business can hold together without the owner in every meeting. Clarifying what the owner’s role should actually look like at the size the company has grown to, which is usually very different from what it looked like two years ago. And working out where the company is heading over the next three to five years, which is the question most owners haven’t stopped long enough to answer properly.
What It Looks Like When It Works
Inner Circle members across South East Queensland have grown revenue, lifted profit margins, and pulled their working weeks back to something closer to what they had in mind when they started the business. The case studies below walk through what that has actually looked like for members Sean and the team have worked with.

Sean has a rare combination of integrity and competence. If his gut tells him you are about to make the wrong choice, he will tell you straight, that kind of honesty is hard to find and it is exactly what you want from someone guiding your business. Sean and the team genuinely values giving you high quality advice tailored to your situation rather than the generic. Everything he shares is practical and actionable, so you walk away knowing exactly what to do next rather than sitting on a pile of theory. His thinking is also incredibly transferable. The principles apply to any business, and he has a real talent for breaking complex ideas down into analogies that actually stick with you long after the conversation ends. If you are serious about growing, Sean and his team are well worth your time.Posted on Google![]()

I am very grateful to have been part of the Sean workshop. The material and guidance provided helped me identify important gaps in my business and gave me clarity on the areas I need to improve. It was also inspiring to connect with other entrepreneurs and successful business owners who have built profitable businesses through discipline, consistency, and focus. Sean and his team went beyond business strategies by also sharing valuable psychological and neurological insights that influence the way we think, make decisions, and navigate challenges in business. This workshop gave me not only practical guidance for my future business decisions, but also motivation, confidence, and direction. A special thanks to Sean, David, and Tim for their humble, supportive, and professional approach to every individual case scenario. Highly recommended.Posted on Google![]()

Who Inner Circle Is Built For
Inner Circle is set up for established Gold Coast owners running companies from around $750k in turnover through to $50M. There is usually a team of five or more people, at least one senior person the owner is either relying on or actively trying to develop, and enough revenue that the owner’s own time has become the constraint on the business rather than sales or demand.
It is not the right fit for a few situations. Owners still working alone or in their first year or two of trading will get more out of Sean’s free resources than out of a full mentoring commitment. Owners looking for a course they can consume on the couch, or a two-day intensive that promises a step change, are looking for a different kind of product. And owners who want a coach to validate what they’ve already decided will find Sean’s approach more challenging than that.
The owners this works best for are quietly frustrated with where the business is sitting, know the answer isn’t more hustle, and are ready to work on the real mechanics for a year or more.
How to Get Started
The first step is a short, no-pressure call with someone on Sean’s team. You apply online, pick a time that suits your week, and use the call to talk through where the business is right now and whether the program is the right move for the stage you’re at. If it isn’t, the team will tell you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is Inner Circle different from other Gold Coast business coaching programs?
The main differences are structure, length and the depth of the mentor bench. Most Gold Coast coaching sits in one of a few formats: group masterminds, weekend intensives, or weekly one-on-one calls with a single coach. Inner Circle is a longer, more structured piece of work. Members stay in for multiple years in most cases, and the program pairs one-on-one coaching with Sean with access to more than 20 specialist mentors covering different disciplines. When the question is about senior hiring, the person working with you on it has spent a career on senior hiring. When it’s a finance question, it’s someone with a finance background. That structural depth is what makes it a mentoring program rather than a coaching program.
What if I’ve already worked with a business coach or done a mastermind before?
Most Inner Circle members have. The move into a longer program usually comes when an owner has extracted what a shorter format can offer and is ready for something more substantial. Prior coaching isn’t a problem and often makes the work faster, because the owner already understands the value of an outside perspective and doesn’t need to be talked into it.
Does Inner Circle work for seasonal or cyclical businesses?
Yes. A large group of members run businesses with clear seasonal cycles, whether that’s hospitality and tourism-facing operators, or businesses on long project cycles like construction, property development and professional services engagements. The coaching addresses the financial and operational realities of that kind of business specifically: cash flow management through the quieter months, pricing that accounts properly for the peak, and team decisions that reflect what the year actually looks like month by month.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the level of mentoring and support that matches where the business is sitting. Sean’s team walks you through the numbers on the first call once the fit is confirmed. Measured against what most established businesses quietly lose each year in tight margins, missed opportunities and time the owner isn’t getting back, Inner Circle sits at the more cost-effective end of the market.
